Business & Money -

How to Make an Extra $10,000 Per Year…On the Side

Right now, I’m at a business retreat in San Diego learning and connecting with some amazing women entrepreneurs from around the world.

In the midst of powerful masterminding, eating incredible food and drinking fabulous wine, we’ve been talking a LOT about how we can all make a bigger difference in the world with the work that we do.

So here’s my question to you today…

Do you believe you were put on earth to make a BIG impact?

Are you uniquely gifted at teaching?

Then you might be a natural professional speaker!

Here’s the good news about speaking:

As a keynote speaker or workshop leader, you can make thousands of dollars, even with a day job and even if you’re terrified of getting on stage (more on that in a minute).

7 years ago, I hated public speaking.

But one of my mentors told me something that changed the direction of my life.

Here’s what he said:

“Rosetta, if you want to make a REAL impact on people’s lives, you gotta get out there and start speaking at conferences and events in your industry.”

Now, I’m an EXTREME introvert.

That means I get “in the zone” by putting on my headphones and listening to music, writing in my journal or just sitting by myself reading a book.

The idea of holding a microphone… on stage… entertaining an audience at a conference? I shook my head NO.

Fast forward to today…

Professional speaking is the reason I was able to quit my job in 2010.

That sentence is so important, allow me to repeat it:

Professional speaking allowed me to QUIT my job.

I took an unpaid gig at an industry event, and it was far from perfect.

But a funny thing happened after that event.

Nonprofit leaders from all over the country began to invite me to their organization’s events for PAID speaking engagements!

The opportunities were coming so fast that I had to start using my vacation time to travel on the speaking circuit as a sought-after keynote speaker and workshop leader.

I started earning between $10,000 to $20,000 in extra income every year – on TOP of my 9 to 5 salary.

Are you still unsure about how to start your business?

Do you want to earn more money, grow your current side hustle, and take a massive leap toward creating your ideal life?

Then you NEED to be speaking.
